Hi,
Im currently using an x115 with an XB 300 (both LNA and PA). I was just wondering whether the baldeRF-cli Calibration procedure takes into account the amplification from the XB 300 (Or if it needs to). If I have an attenuator and can provide an external loopback, is there a way to perform the calibrations without automatically switching to the built-in internal loopback?
Thanks in advance!
Tom

Re: Calibration with XB 300
Greetings,
Sorry about the late reply -- I didn't notice this post until today
The calibration procedure compensates for the DC and IQ imbalances that naturally occur within the LMS6002D, most of which are endemic to the direct conversion architecture itself. Adding a LNA or PA should not introduce much (if any) additional imbalance, although they may make existing imbalances more noticeable.
If you are finding the automatic calibration routines are not sufficient with the XB300 in line, consider making manual adjustments using external test equipment: https://github.com/Nuand/bladeRF/wiki/D ... orrections
Hope this helps. Thanks!!
