I've just been using the BladeRF 2.0 A4 and found some interference. The antenna is a 20cm monopole.
To demonstrate the interference I have modified GQRX and wrote a python script to control GQRX and take a screen shot at the frequencies that this interference is most noticeable. Then the screenshots were compiled into a mp4 video and uploaded to my Google drive.
Here's a link to the video file on my Google drive.

You can view it on Google but for the best quality you have to download it.
I live within 200m of a cell tower. Could this be the source of the interference?
What is the source of interference?

Are any of you BladeRF users experiencing interference near cell phone towers like I am? I just ran a Python script to capture the frequency spectrum via GQRX, and the video sweep shows very clear interference bars in sensitive frequency bands. At a distance of 200m, the transmit power from that tower is definitely saturating my SDR. Should I switch to a directional antenna to reduce the beam pattern towards that cell phone tower?tim.krause wrote: ↑Wed Feb 04, 2026 5:43 pm I've just been using the BladeRF 2.0 A4 and found some interference. Using host-based FPGA autoloading ended up being much easier for me than dealing with SPI flash. The startup is basically instant, and keeping the .rbf files updated is a lot less hassle when you're testing different builds.kaputter bildschirm prank
