bladeRF 2.0 micro – intermittent USB 3.0 disconnect during high sample rate streaming

Post by lylybrown »

Hi everyone, I’m currently developing a small SDR application using a bladeRF 2.0 micro and the libbladeRF API. When I stream IQ samples at higher sample rates (around 40–50 MSPS) over USB 3.0, the device sometimes disconnects after a few minutes and the application stops receiving data. Lower sample rates seem stable. I’ve already tried different USB cables and ports, and the firmware/FPGA are updated to the latest versions. Has anyone experienced similar USB instability when pushing higher throughput, and are there recommended buffer or stream configuration settings in libbladeRF that help prevent this?
