Maximum size of power amplifier
What is the maximum size of power amplifier that can be added to blade RF micro without damaging it?

Re: Maximum size of power amplifier
I found this online:
The absolute maximum power the RF ports can be exposed to is +23 dBm (~200 mW). Beyond that, you will damage your front-end. For normal operation, you should keep the inputs well below that number.

Re: Maximum size of power amplifier
To ensure smooth functioning, it is advisable to maintain the inputs at a level significantly lower than the specified number (+23 dBm (~200 mW))

Re: Maximum size of power amplifier
As a forum visitor, I’d suggest checking the blade RF micro’s published current and voltage limits first, since the max PA size must stay within those rails to avoid thermal or RF loading issues. Look for the recommended drive levels and impedance matching specs, and consider using an attenuator or pre-driver if you’re unsure.uno online can help simulate the impedance network before hardware tests.
