Sampling rate and RX gains

Hello everyone,

could someone maybe explain me, why the sampling rate is having such a large effect on the received signal amplitude?

I typically have to change the receiver gains dramatically upon changing sampling rate and do not understand why.

Can you please ensure that the bandwidth is also set? Not setting the bandwidth appropriately can make it vary unpredictably with different sample rates. What tool are you using?
